Housekeeper & Occasional Light Cooking
NYC and Hamptons
Salary: $100K plus a generous year-end bonus.
Two weeks paid vacation, sick days, plus Federal holidays. Schedule: July and August: work Tuesday in NYC, and Wednesday (mid-day) to Saturday morning in Hamptons (will have own bed, bath and TV). Transportation will be reimbursed, and a car is available in Hamptons.
Join a friendly and accommodating single mom who is a high-energy, high-powered executive, looking for her right-hand person to manage her two households in NYC and the Hamptons. Seeking a dedicated, energetic, happy, and take charge-organized housekeeper who can occasionally assist with light cooking. If you are self-directed, efficient, and able to anticipate the needs to keep homes running smoothly and effectively.
Expectations:
- Independence & Ownership: Expected and trust you to do your job, and takes the initiative handle tasks without being specifically asked to do so.
- You will be responsible for accomplishing the work required at your pace and in the manner, you are most comfortable.
- There are two homes, a five-bedroom home in NYC and a nine-bedroom home in Hamptons. From time to time there are guest visiting NYC home, and more often in the Hamptons.
- This home enjoys entertaining, there will be a chef during these times, and your role will be set up prior, to support the chef, and clean up.

Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping and Laundry: Keep the house tidy and well organized with a great attention to detail. Take responsibility for purchasing and storing all cleaning supplies. Deep knowledge of Laundry.
- Cooking: Stock the refrigerator and pantry, Occasional dinners and assist with food prep for occasional entertaining.
- House manager: receive deliveries, manage house maintenance projects, undertake organization projects (like storing old clothes). Occasional assistance with sending packages, return or buy gifts, and other errands.
