Westminster Communities of Florida
Discover more about our mission of service...
Our mission is to serve people — residents, employees and our neighbors in the greater community. As a faith-based, not-for-profit organization, our sole purpose is to serve older adults, by providing beautiful and quality environments to enhance lifestyles at every level of independence.
The Westminster Communities of Florida story starts in 1954, with the First Presbyterian Church of Bradenton chartering Westminster Manor, and quickly moves to Central Florida with communities in Winter Park and Orlando. Today, we’re happy to serve more than 7,000 residents in 21 communities throughout the state, offering active, independent living, assisted living and nursing care in our nine Continuing Care Retirement Communities, as well as affordable communities for low-income seniors.
We offer a wide variety of choices in great, sunny locations throughout Florida. A Westminster community is also a great value: No matter what choice you make, every residence comes with maintenance-free living and a host of great amenities and services.
You’ll love our exclusive My W Life wellbeing program, emphasizing wellness and lifelong learning. Many of our communities also offer the assurance of a full complement of supportive services and healthcare, all on campus.
We’re a strong partner for your retirement, with a fiscally sound, A- rating from Fitch Ratings, recently reaffirmed in May 2015, and a Mission-driven commitment to good stewardship of our resources and the environment.
