Tomah Memorial Hospital provides a wide range of medical services for the residents of western Wisconsin and southern Minnesota. The hospital's staff of about 100 health care professionals includes specialists in cardiology, internal medicine, oncology, general and orthopedic surgery, and emergency medicine. In 2005 the hospital completed a nearly $10 million construction and renovation project, which included a new 20,000 sq. ft. facility on its premises. With help and donations from many community residents, Tomah Memorial opened its doors in 1952 with 29 beds.
Today, the hospital employs almost 400 people and is constantly growing. In fact, Tomah Memorial plans to open a new 66 million dollar, 50,000 sq. ft. facility in September of 2019 and opened a new Occupational Health Clinic in October 2017.
