Springfield College Company

Springfield College is a private, coeducational college located in Springfield, Massachusetts. Guided from its 1885 founding by the Humanics philosophy, which calls for educating a person's mind, body, and spirit, Springfield College confers a wide range of undergraduate, post-graduate, and doctoral degrees.Known as the birthplace of basketball, the sport was invented at Springfield College in 1891 by graduate student James Naismith.
