The Purple Cow diner and soda fountain is a family favorite. Why? Classic décor, nostalgic atmosphere and really fantastic food. Guests come here for gourmet burgers, specialty sandwiches and old-fashioned soda fountain treats, especially the iconic, hand-dipped purple vanilla shake.

It all started in 1989 with a restaurant modeled after classic diners of the 50s. The food was fresh and the service was friendly. That original restaurant was a hit, inspiring additional locations throughout Central Arkansas. Each spot has its own personality, but you will always find great food and retro roots. Plus lots and lots of purple. Purple Cow Restaurants has 4 great locations, two in Little Rock, one in Hot Springs, and one in Conway. We are very much a “family” restaurant and we cater to “the young of all ages”. The success we enjoy is due to our belief in providing quality food and service to our guests through a lot of good old-fashioned hard work by all of our team members. The Purple Cow team is the key to our successful operations.
