Ottumwa Regional Health Center Company

Ottumwa Regional Legacy Foundation is creating a legacy by investing in the wellbeing of Ottumwa, Iowa, residents. The not-for-profit charitable foundation was formed in 2010 with proceeds from the city's sale of the Ottumwa Regional Health Center to the for-profit hospital operator RegionalCare Hospital Partners. The Ottumwa Regional Legacy Foundation plans to use its $60 million endowment to fund community health care and educational programs, as well as other potential development projects. Its philanthropic grants are awarded through a regional application process.
