The Maroone family has been involved in auto retail for three generations. It all began in 1955, when Al Maroone Ford opened in Middleport, NY, and as the saying goes, the rest is history. The Maroone Auto Group grew to nine franchises in six locations with 700 employees -- and was consistently recognized as one of the top performing auto retail groups in America. In 1997, the Maroone family merged their dealerships with Republic Industries, later called AutoNation where Mike Maroone served as president, chief operating officer and board member for nearly two decades. In May 2017, the Maroone family proudly reentered private dealership ownership in Colorado Springs, CO with Mike Maroone Chevrolet North, Mike Maroone Volkswagen, Mike Maroone Chevrolet South and Mike Maroone Honda.
