Beginning in 1988 with a couple of friends bringing back groovy goods from Mexico while jamming out to the Grateful Dead, Mexicali Blues has always been about sharing a bit of the world with everyone at home - while having a great time. We’ve expanded from our first store in Portland Maine, and now include six storefronts across the state, each with their own unique expression of the Mexicali Vibe. While our travels have expanded to match - stretching from Guatemala to Nepal - and music tastes have broadened ever so slightly from the Dead, we have stayed true to our fun loving roots.
