Makotek is a premier national provider of nonpay customer retention and equipment recovery services to the largest Cable and Broadband operators in the U.S. We have earned a reputation as a trusted partner to our clients by delivering exceptional results through focused management and continuous process improvement.
Makotek was founded in 2002 by a team of cable industry veterans with over 85 years of combined experience in leadership roles with major cable operators and nonpay retention service providers to the cable industry. Our company headquarters, national dispatch team and national call center are located in Orlando, Florida.

Operating with these principles, Makotek has grown into a company of over 400 employees with 20 offices in 10 states. As a result, we have grown to become the single largest provider of retention services in the states where we first operated: New York, Ohio and South Carolina. We have worked for some of the largest Cable operators in the industry including Charter, Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Insight Communications, Advanced Cable Communications and Bright House.
