North Idaho Family Physicians and Kootenai Health have partnered to provide urgent care services, forming Kootenai Urgent Care. This is an equal partnership that allows both organizations to deliver quality, cost‐effective, coordinated care to the community. This partnership allows Kootenai Urgent Care to remain responsive to community needs.
Kootenai Urgent Care's services continue to complement the services provided by primary care physicians in the community. This includes helping patients who need care but do not require an emergency room visit, and are unable to be seen by their primary care physician.
Kootenai Urgent Care will continue to coordinate efforts is affiliated with Kootenai Occupational Medicine to provide on‐the‐job injury care, case management of claims, employment physicals and drug testing.
