Johns Hopkins Health System refers to a group of entities: The Johns Hopkins Health System Corp and its wholly owned subsidiaries - six hospitals and Johns Hopkins Community Physicians, the largest primary care group practice in Maryland, with a not-for-profit network of 40 locations in MD, DC and VA. Two operational entities of Johns Hopkins Medicine are Johns Hopkins HealthCare, an organization which develops and manages contractual relationships with MCOs, employers, hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers, and The Johns Hopkins Home Care Group, offering home health visits by nurses, HHAs, social workers, and PT, OT, speech therapists; medical and respiratory supplies, home infusion therapy and pharmaceuticals; and outpatient discharge pharmacy services. The system includes The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Howard County General Hospital, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital.
