Jefferson Lab Company

The Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility is a U.S. Department of Energy facility located in Newport News, Virginia. Jefferson Lab's primary mission is to conduct research of the atom's nucleus at the quark level. The lab also conducts applied research using a free-electron laser. Jefferson Lab employs over 700 people and has 1,300 scientists in the U.S. and abroad who use its facilities.
