The Gee Automotive Companies began in 1983 when George Gee fulfilled his dream of starting a Pontiac dealership in Spokane, Washington. The business thrived under George and his wife, Theresa, and soon became the largest Pontiac dealership in the state of Washington. More recently, the Gee Automotive companies have grown past their Spokane roots to include Eastside Subaru in Kirkland, WA, South Tacoma Honda in Tacoma, WA, and Gresham Subaru in the Portland Area. In 2017, Gee Automotive acquired the 13 dealerships and associated businesses of the Tonkin Group in the Portland, OR area. It’s been smooth sailing from there! Since then, we’ve been able to make important acquisitions in key cities and locations such as Mercedes Benz of Spokane, Ford Hyundai of Kirkland, Lyle Pearson Auto Group in Boise, and a luxury, pre-owned dealership in Seattle, Elliot Bay Auto Brokers. Gee also operates a parts wholesale business, an automotive retail financing arm, an automotive wholesale operation, and a vehicle acquisition company. We are proud to have over 1,700 team members focused on delivering great customer service across the northwest.
