The Enlivant Environment
Since 1981, when we opened our first community, we’ve delivered a pioneering approach to assisted living designed to give residents a supportive, stimulating environment where they will thrive in mind, body, and spirit.
In every one of our assisted living communities, our compassionate staff help our residents maintain their wellbeing, form meaningful connections, and engage with the things they care about. We work to meet each resident’s unique needs, with quality care and an environment that offers a sense of belonging for our residents, as though they are a member of a family.
We respect the culture and personality that forms in each one of our communities. Because our communities are more intimate than many, with an average of 40 to 60 apartments per location, we are able to tailor our programs to the interests and abilities of our residents. We help our residents do the things they’ve always loved, or find new interests, make friends, and rekindle their own spark.

That’s why we tailor our services to the specific needs of each resident – from assistance with daily activities to dining, activities and more. Our approach to compassionate, individualized care is focused on enhancing the health and wellness of the residents we serve every day.
Enlivant Covid-19 Response
The safety and health of our residents and employees is our top priority. We recognized the threat that COVID-19 posed to our communities, especially our seniors, and began planning in January 2020. From the onset, Enlivant has been working diligently to ensure that we are prepared to maintain the trust, health, safety, security, and comfort of our residents and teams. We are carefully following the rapidly changing Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation and evaluating and assessing our protocols based upon evolving recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local Health Departments and Regulatory Agencies.
Enlivant Continues to Take Proactive Steps Against COVID-19
As we navigate this unprecedented time, we have taken further precautions across all Enlivant communities to help protect the safety and health of our residents and employees. We are continually evaluating and assessing our protocols based on evolving guidance from the CDC as well as local & state health departments, with an unrelenting focus on the safety and health of our residents and employees.
Updates for Our Employees
• Provided additional training for team members following CDC recommendations, focusing on proper hand washing, housekeeping, and disinfecting.
• Retrained our team on standard infection control precautions policies and procedures in the event a resident or employee may show signs of illness.
• Screening employees for signs or risk-factors of COVID-19 before each shift.
• Making continued updates to policies to prohibit work for any employee that feels ill or has symptoms of a respiratory illness.
• Requiring the use of masks by all employees and essential visitors while in the community, supplied by Enlivant.
