EIS Company

EIS
EIS is a leading North American distributor of process materials, production supplies, specialty wire and cable and value-added fabricated parts for the electrical OEM, motor repair and assembly markets.
Our culture is highly innovative, collaborative and focused on building and maintaining relationships that allow us to surpass our customers’ expectations. We embrace the qualities that make each of our team members unique and develop each other’s skillsets so that together we can be stronger than the sum of our parts.
EIS was formerly a division of Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC), a publicly traded distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts, office products and electrical/electronic materials. EIS was founded in 1950 and acquired by GPC in 1998. Under GPC’s ownership, EIS grew from a company serving local motor repair shops to:
-Expand operational footprint to 42 facilities with an ability to service 95% of North American customers
within 2 days at a 91% fill rate
-Develop capabilities from breaking bulk for third party branded products, to providing its own branded
products, sourcing expertise, assembly, and other value-added services
-Diversify into the $19B wire, cable, and connectivity market
