Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties (CMHA-CEI) offers a wide array of specialty services and evidence-based programs through it's clinical departments consisting of:
- Adult Mental Health Services
- Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled
- Families Forward
- Substance Abuse Services and Corrections Mental Health
CMHA-CEI serves community residents with severe mental illness, serious emotional disturbance (SED), intellectual and developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders (SUD).
CMHA-CEI serves around 12,000 consumers annually.
The primary diagnostic categories among adults are major depressive disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, alcohol use disorders, and schizoaffective disorder. The primary categories for children are unspecified mood (affective) disorder, major depressive disorder, autism spectrum disorder, adjustment disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Currently, 85% of the CMHA-CEI budget is supported by Medicaid funding.
