BRP Company

BRP
For 75 years, BRP has created innovative ways to get around—on water, snow, asphalt, dirt, and even in the air.
With a long tradition of ingenuity and special attention to the needs of our customers, we’re reinventing the ways of accessing our world.
We couldn’t experience this great adventure without the talent of more than 14,500 employees who share our passion and our taste for excellence.
Our head office is located in Valcourt, Quebec, but we also have facilities elsewhere in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Finland, Austria, and Australia.
Our product line includes:
• Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles
• Sea-Doo watercraft
• Can-Am off-road and on-road vehicles
• Alumacraft, Manitou, Quintrex, Stacer, and Savage boats
• Evinrude and Rotax marine propulsion systems
• Rotax engines for go-karts, motorcycles, and recreational aircraft
An example of our spirit of innovation and our search for excellence? In 2021 alone, BRP won four prestigious Red Dot Design Awards, including the Best of the Best prize—the highest honour of the competition—for the Ski-Doo Freeride, as well as two Good Design Australia Awards and three Good Design Japan Awards.
Because it’s not about the destination. It’s about the journey. Yours.
José Boisjoli, President and Chief Executive Officer
Much like the BRP company, José Boisjoli has a long track record of adventures. Mr. Boisjoli started working for BRP in 1989 after spending eight years in the pharmaceutical industry and the road safety equipment industry.
He has been the President and CEO of BRP since December 2003, the year when BRP became an independent company. Prior to that, he was the president of the snowmobile and watercraft division (1998-2003), the largest division of Bombardier Recreational Products Inc., in addition to managing the ATV division since 2001.
Mr. Boisjoli’s sound yet bold management has earned him two prestigious titles, including “Senior Executive of the Year” (2005) from the largest motor sports magazine in the United States, Powersports Magazine, as well as “CEO of the Year 2017” from the Canadian newspaper Les Affaires.
This Bachelor of Engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke fits into the long tradition of determination and daring instituted by founder Joseph-Armand Bombardier, the designer of the very first vehicle capable of travelling on snow.
Mr. Boisjoli relies on the support of a team of talented Vice-Presidents:
• Karim Donnez, President, Marine Group
• Bernard Guy, Executive Vice-President Global Product Strategy
• Anne-Marie LaBerge, Chief Marketing Officer
