Belvac Company

Belvac
If you'd like to buy the world a Coke, you'll probably need to wait for Belvac Production Machinery to roll out the equipment first. A subsidiary of Dover, Belvac makes the machinery that manufactures beverage cans and related packaging products -- both metal and plastic. The company estimates that each year close to 200 billion drink cans are made using Belvac machinery. Its equipment performs an array of high-speed trimming, necking, shaping, coating, and inspection processes. Belvac also makes all manner of plastic bottle-making machinery in addition to offering training programs for its metal and pastic machinery. Belvac's service unit provides parts and service throughout the US and Europe. The company continues to ramp up industry processes through research and development of manufacturing firsts such as a machine line quick change over apparatus and long stroke slide assemblies. Belvac was founded in 1962 as the Belgium Tool and Die Company. Since 1993 it has operated as a subsidiary of Dover.
