Founded in 1884 as Allan's Blacksmith and Welding, ALMACO is the oldest business in Story County. Since the 1970's we have been innovating and manufacturing custom equipment for our clients' research needs - not only in the field, but wherever their research takes them. You'll see our research combines and planters all over the world, yet each piece of equipment is designed and manufactured in Nevada, Iowa. We are proud to have offices in both Brazil and Argentina which are focused on sales and service.
