Acumed, LLC is a privately owned medical device manufacturer based in Hillsboro, Oregon in the Portland metropolitan area of the United States. Founded in 1988, the company employs nearly 800 people domestically and internationally who design, manufacture, and market orthopedic implants and surgical devices. The company is a subsidiary of Colson Medical, part of Marmon Holdings, a Berkshire Hathaway company.
